Celebrate the Fall Season at the 46 Ranch Pumpkin Patch
There is something special about fall on the ranch. The air turns crisp, pumpkins fill the fields, and families gather to make memories that become annual traditions. This season, we invite you to experience it all at the 46 Ranch Pumpkin Patch, where a day at the farm is about much more than picking out the perfect pumpkin.
Set on our working regenerative ranch in Templeton, California, the 46 Ranch Pumpkin Patch offers an authentic Central Coast fall experience filled with family activities, friendly animals, delicious seasonal food, and wide-open countryside. Whether you’re visiting with children, grandparents, or a group of friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

More Than a Pumpkin Patch
Your visit begins with rows of pumpkins in every shape, size, and color, ready to become front porch displays, carved jack-o’-lanterns, or festive fall decorations. Our pumpkins are pre-picked and ready to take home.
From there, the adventure continues across the ranch.
Hop aboard the train for a ride around the barn, climb onto the scenic hay wagon farm tour, and take an educational 45-minute journey through our regenerative pastures, orchard, vineyard, and pumpkin fields. Along the way, you’ll experience the beauty of a working farm while learning more about the land that sustains it.
Kids can bounce on the giant jump pad, race rubber duckies, meet friendly farm animals in the interactive petting zoo, and try their luck at gold panning and gem mining. Families can also explore the whimsical Witches Path, enjoy festive photo opportunities throughout the ranch, and catch live music on select days.

Discover the Story of Old Man McVintner
One of the most unique parts of the 46 Ranch Pumpkin Patch is the story woven throughout the experience.
As you explore the ranch, you’ll follow the tale of Old Man McVintner, who arrived searching for gold but found something even more valuable through stewardship, hard work, and the harvest. The themed story areas invite guests to help defend the ranch from the Witch of Winter while discovering the animals, traditions, and regenerative farming practices that make 46 Ranch so special.
Come Hungry
No fall tradition is complete without seasonal treats.
Warm apple cider donuts are made fresh throughout the day, filling the air with the unmistakable scent of autumn. You’ll also find freshly popped kettle corn, Robin's World Famous Pies, and ranch favorites like smoky tri-tip, grilled hot dogs, and roasted corn on the cob, making it easy to spend the entire day enjoying everything the ranch has to offer.
Visit the Farmstand
Before you head home, stop by the farmstand to bring a little piece of the ranch home with you.
Browse pasture-raised eggs gathered from our hens, honey produced from hives on our ranch in partnership with Sierra Honey Farm, seasonal squash, heirloom tomatoes, pie pumpkins, and other fresh harvest items. Everything reflects our commitment to regenerative agriculture and caring for the land for future generations.
